5. A ghost contacted a psychic to help uncover her murder

In 2005, 20 year old Ashley Howley from Livonia, MI has gone missing near Columbus, Ohio.
She worked as a stripper in Ohio, and was dating a guy named Robert P. MacMichael II who was among the first suspects, his house and yard were searched thoroughly with dogs, but nothing was found.

Some years later Kristy Robinett, a psychic from Detroit, MI was visited by Ashley’s ghost, she demanded justice and showed Kristy visions of the place that she had been buried. It was non-verbal communication, but Ashley somehow made it clear that the place was in Columbus, Ohio, and showed Kristy some light colored pines. Kristy began researching missing people whose description matched that of the ghost that visited her, and eventually found Ashley’s case, recognizing her immediately. She later travelled to Columbus, Ohio with a relative of Ashley, and with the help of a forest ranger they were able to find those light colored pines that Ashley was showing to Kristy. The location was very close to MacMichael’s father’s house.

It turned out that Robert P. MacMichael II had encased her body in cement and buried it near his father’s house, which would explain why the dogs couldn’t detect the body. As a surprise to the police, it turned out that Robert has also killed his own mother and her boyfriend and buried them in a similar fashion. Talk about real life horror scenarios, Jeez!

6. Whispers from the morgue

June 24, 2004 Makaty city in the Philippines. The lifeless body of Catherine Ballesteros was found at her home by her uncle. It was a bloody mess, and there were multiple wounds on her body. The post-mortem examination concluded that she was stabbed 33 times in different parts of her body. The investigators were able to obtain some fingerprints and blood samples that didn’t belong to Catherine, but they couldn’t find a match in their database.

When her parents were informed of her demise they immediately rushed to her home, but the police wouldn’t let them go in due to the scene being extremely gruesome.

They were allowed to see the body only after it was transferred to the morgue. Seeing her child’s body Catherine’s mother started crying, refusing to let her go she held her head near hers and wept. This is the moment when the mother heard a slight whisper coming from the lips of her dead daughter, she could clearly hear the name “Baba”.

She shared this strange experience, and upon investigation it turned out that Baba is the nickname of a well known burglar in Catherine’s neighborhood. The police looked for him at his home, but he was absent, further raising the suspicion toward him. Ryan “Baba” Viscarra has fled the city, but luckily he was already arrested in Manilla for some other crimes. Blood samples and fingerprints were taken from him and they were an exact match with those from the crime scene. He is currently serving a life sentence in prison.
