How would Carbon-14 tests confirm a person’s identity? At best it would help determine the age of the remains. It’s a long way from “this person died in 1975” to “this is the body of Jimmy Hoffa”.

Dark matter is THEORIZED to make up 80+% of the matter in the universe. Current theories of evolutionary cosmology run into trouble because the amount of mass actually observed to exist in the universe is way too small to fit the theory. So evolutionists speculate that there must be a huge amount of matter — 80 to 95% — that we can’t see and can’t detect with any existing instruments. The only evidence to date that dark matter exists is that it’s necessary to make the theory work. If a psychic or a bigfoot enthusiast offered an explanation like this for why his theory doesn’t fit the experimental evidence, he’d be laughed out of the room. But when such explanations are needed to prop up evolution, they’re considered serious science. Is it possible that dark matter really exists? Sure. Maybe someone will find a way to detect it someday. Maybe someone will capture a bigfoot someday. It’s possible.
