Why the surprise, TJTURTLE9? These are men and women who put their life on the line for their respective countries. They deserve to be fed well. Besides, you can hardly expect active duty soldiers to survive on just bread and water.
Sign up for the army if you really think they’re that privileged. Just don’t start complaining when the bullets start flying and the bombs are exploding.
I am from Latvia and many soldiers from Latvia is in Afganistan. This is only combat meals in Afghanistan. In army base they have king meals!!
