Lesser-known discounts at some of the most popular restaurant chains

Because who doesn’t love free (or heavily discounted) food, right?

Chili’s

$5 margaritas on Thursdays. They have different types on discount depending on the day or location, so call ahead.

 

If you sign up for their Rewards program, you get points every time you eat there, and then you can redeem those points for food.

Go on your birthday and you could get a free Molten Lava cake. Their website says each store might have different free gifts, but this is the norm. They might even sing to you… if you really want them to.

Macaroni Grill

Like their Facebook page for discounts like $2 Bloody Marys and mimosas at brunch.

 

Sign up for their emails for a $5 coupon.

Get half price bottles of wine on Thursdays… that means you can get two bottles for the price of one… which sounds like a great time to me.

This place really wants to get you drunk for cheap.

 

Olive Garden

Sign up for their newsletter and you’ll get a free appetizer or dessert next time you go, PLUS a free dessert on your birthday.

 

Also don’t forget about their unlimited soup, salad AND breadsticks for $6.99 before 4pm.

Outback Steakhouse

If Kevin Harvick finishes in the top 10 in a NASCAR race, you win as well with a free Bloomin’ Onion on the Monday immediately following.

 

If you have an AARP card (or bring someone with you who does), you can get 15% off your meal.

On Wednesdays they have a 3-course $12.99 deal.

Did someone say unlimited soup, salad and bread again? Outback does it as well for $7.99 during lunch time.

IHOP

On July 12th (like, next Tuesday), you can get a short stack of pancakes for 58 cents in honor of IHOP’s birthday.

 

For the month of July you get free refills on fries when you order a burger. Like all the fries you can eat.

If you sign up for their email newsletter, you get a lot of free pancakes. As in, as soon as you sign up, every year for your “newsletter joining anniversary,” and every year on your birthday.

Red Lobster

They also have a newsletter you can sign up for in exchange for a free appetizer or dessert. You also get a “surprise birthday offer” and “special savings” if you keep your subscription.

 

Anytime Monday through Thursday gets you a four-course feast for $15.99 (as opposed to the normal $20.99). That gets you a choice of soup, a choice of salad, a choice of entree and a triple chocolate brownie.

Cheesecake Factory

And finally for dessert, Friday, July 29th and Saturday July 30th, ALL cheesecake slices are half off. ALL OF THEM.

Which means you should probably skip dinner and have like 4 pieces.
