The streets in Los Angeles have been reaching temperatures of 130-140 degrees, so city officials had to find outside the box ideas to combat the unbearable heat. They decided to cover the asphalt in a white paint like substance, and it’s projected that it will cool temperatures by 11-13 degrees.
