Mother of All Swiss Army Knives

Mother of all Swiss Army knives is a multiblade folding knife that has 100 blades and even a functional .22-caliber fivhot pinfire revolver. It was made in Germany in 1880s. It does not have a bottle opener, because the bottle cap as we know wasn’t invented until 1892.

  1. I’ve seen the photos of the 1880s knife several times. It’s incredible, but so are new knives made every day at Victorinox! Victorinox knives have been to the moon, to the summit of Mt. Everest, and to the Arctic Circle. And although knife sales to the Swiss Army itself actually represent less than one percent of the Company’s total business, the name “Swiss Army” and the familiar white cross on red emblem are among the best-known known and highly-respected brand names and symbols in the world
