Bestselling author and motivational speaker, Joshua Sundquist lost his leg to cancer at the age of nine and was told that he would not live long past his 10th birthday. He surprised everyone by proving the doctors wrong and started professional skiing at the age of 17. He went on to join the Paralympic skiing team and after competing in the IX Paralympic Games in Turin, Italy in 2006, he retired from the sport. He then embarked a training regime to get fitter at the gym and changed his body so dramatically that he entered, and won, the Body-for-Life Contest in 2006. Josh now plays soccer for fun and has a long-term girlfriend called Ashley. And if he has done all this already, what’s stopping you?
