Yes, I think everyone gets that. That the picture was rotated IS what’s special. Because you see, in this rotated state, it looks just as if the girl was sitting normally on a ledge, while in fact she is hanging over the edge of a pool, holding herself straight out.

Take any assortment of random pictures, rotate them 90 degrees and you will most probably get… Nothing special. There will be no effect like this, because normally we aren’t in positions that will look like another, natural position if rotated.
