The Myth of the Micro Pig

The breeder probably swore on their life that the animal was a special teacup variety, but biology had other plans for this giant pet pig. Within a few months, the tiny piglet that could fit in a handbag transformed into a massive hog that weighed more than a refrigerator and required a diet that could bankrupt a small country. Instead of cute little oinks, the house was filled with the sounds of a fully grown farm animal demanding snacks at all hours of the day and figuring out how to open the kitchen cupboards with surprising intelligence.

Living with a 600-Pound Roommate

Most people would have returned the animal to a farm, but this woman fell in love with her giant pet pig despite the chaos he caused. He became a pampered member of the family who sleeps on a king-sized mattress and genuinely believes he is a lap dog, often crushing anyone foolish enough to sit down next to him. This hilarious story serves as a warning to anyone looking for an exotic pet, because unless you are ready to share your home with a creature that has the appetite of a dinosaur and the personality of a toddler, you should probably stick to a goldfish.

Now the pig weighs 220 lbs (100 kg)
