A MMA based porno movie actually makes a lot of sense. How come no one thought of this before?
On the set of “Tuff Love,” a mixed martial arts-themed action porn, as seen from writer-director Derrick Pierce’s point of view.

Film star Jessica Drake says some people are surprised to learn adult movies can be full-scale productions, shot in big studios with a film crew.

Drake films a message to her fans before the cameras roll on the film. She plays MMA fighter Becca “Badass” Benson; Steven St. Croix plays the fight promoter who owns the gym.

Crown condoms are the preferred prophylactic of Wicked Pictures because they are thin and the glistening pink color is camera-friendly.

Pierce makes sure the scene is executed perfectly. “It’s time to show you why I’m the head boss,” St. Croix says to Drake as they begin to get intimate.

A version of this kit is standard on most porn sets. It features all the necessary tools of the trade, including baby wipes, lube, latex gloves and condoms.

Several movies can be filmed on a single set at once. While the gym scenes were being shot for “Tuff Love,” the empty office did not go to waste.

The AVNs are the porn version of the Oscars. Drake says “Fallen,” in which she plays an angel trapped on Earth, is her favorite film she’s been in.

In order to book a job, performers must have clean, current blood test results.

Most get tested between every 14 and 28 days.

Shot between takes, this scene features Stevie Shae as Bunny, center, and Charlee Monroe as Bambi, right, who have come to try out to be ring girls in “Tuff Love.”

In the world of “Tuff Love,” this counts as a job interview for Stevie Shae.

Back in the office, St. Croix seduces Drake.

When she’s not performing, directing, teaching or traveling, Drake picks up her fan mail. No, it doesn’t go to her house.
