Behind Tommy Fleetwood’s rise as one of the PGA Tour’s most consistent performers stands a woman of equal strength: his wife Clare Fleetwood. Not only his spouse, Clare is also his longtime manager—steering both his personal and professional journey with unwavering grace.

An Unconventional Union

Their story began in 2015 when Clare, then vice-president at a sports management firm, took Tommy as a client. Despite the nearly 23-year age difference, their professional relationship deepened into romance and they tied the knot in the Bahamas in 2017.

Manager, Mentor, and Mother

Clare seamlessly balances her role as Tommy’s agent with being a devoted mother. The couple welcomed their son, Franklin, shortly after marriage, complementing Clare’s two sons from a previous relationship. Together they’ve built a blended family that thrives on mutual respect and cooperation.

Defying Stereotypes and Embracing Strength

Clare dislikes being boxed into labels like “WAG” (Wives and Girlfriends of sports stars); to Tommy, she is “a very, very busy woman” whose strategic insight underpins his success. Their love, rooted in shared values and humor, demonstrates that true partnership defies conventional norms.
