Tobey Maguire and Ice Spice have become the internet’s latest unexpected pairing after photos from Michael Rubin’s annual White Party in the Hamptons appeared to show the pair sharing an intimate moment on a balcony.

What the Photos Show

The images, reportedly captured through partly open blinds at Rubin’s Independence Day weekend bash, show the 51-year-old “Spider-Man” actor standing close to the 26-year-old “Munch” rapper. One photo appears to show Maguire placing his hands on Ice Spice’s arms before leaning in, sparking immediate speculation online that the two were kissing.

Ice Spice’s Team Responds

Amid the swirling rumors, a representative for Ice Spice pushed back on the romance narrative, telling reporters that the pair are not romantically involved and that the viral photos misrepresent what actually happened. According to the statement, the two were simply sharing a vape and talking, and the widely circulated image was actually just an initial greeting rather than a kiss.

Not everyone online was convinced by the explanation, with some fans noting the framing of the photos still leaves room for doubt, while others pointed out that leaning in close is common at loud, crowded parties.

The Age Gap Conversation

Much of the online chatter has centered on the 25-year age difference between Maguire and Ice Spice. This isn’t the first time Maguire’s dating life has drawn attention over an age gap — earlier in 2026, he was linked to a 20-year-old model and content creator after the two were spotted together at the Super Bowl.

Who Attended the White Party

Michael Rubin’s White Party is an annual pre-Fourth of July celebration held at his private Hamptons estate, known for drawing a mix of A-list actors, musicians, and athletes. Maguire and Ice Spice were among the many celebrities in attendance this year, though neither has directly addressed the viral photos themselves.

What’s Next

With representatives offering conflicting signals and both stars staying largely silent, the true nature of the Hamptons moment remains unconfirmed. For now, the internet continues to debate whether this was a fleeting party greeting or the start of a genuinely unexpected celebrity pairing.
