Shovels, Shoes, and Rusty Metal

The trend of serving food on industrial equipment has officially gone too far, because nobody wants to eat their English breakfast off a rusted garden shovel that looks like it was just pulled out of the dirt. We found horrific examples of weird food presentation involving deep-fried snacks stuffed inside old sneakers, which is not only unappetizing but probably violates several health code regulations in most civilized countries. When you have to worry about tetanus while trying to enjoy your burger, you know the restaurant has completely lost the plot and needs to go back to basics.

Clotheslines and Slate Boards

If you thought eating off a shovel was bad, wait until you see the chefs who decided that bacon needs to be hung on a miniature clothesline like wet laundry drying in the wind. We also have to mention the absolute disaster of serving steak with peppercorn sauce on a flat piece of slate, which guarantees that the gravy will spill onto your expensive trousers the moment you cut into the meat. This gallery of weird food presentation is a testament to the fact that just because you *can* serve spaghetti in a wine glass, it absolutely does not mean you *should*.
