Look how disgusting this garage started as.

Attention all of you home improvement gunners. This is the ultimate example of what is possible. Seriously, check out this garage that was totally changed, and now houses a little something special. It’s something that’s totally disgusting, even a drain on a perfectly good house. But is a diamond in the rough… with only a little elbow grease. Right?

I’d never want to go in here, let alone PUT things in there.

But I guess that’s why it’s a great project!

But let’s be honest…it’s going to take a lot of work.

Once everything was cleared away, it was time to make it look a lot better.

And is a great chance to get creative.

Since it’s your garage, you can put up whatever you want.

And paint it however you want.

Then put in new lights…

And slick floors.

Looking much better. But we’re missing a final touch.

Ah…there it is.

I’ll never be as creative as this guy was, but it certainly makes me want to go out to Home Depot. I keep promising that I’ll fix that toilet. That’s the same as what this guy did, right?

Being diagnosed with, and then battling, breast cancer is a trial that many people unfortunately experience. Many women, after fighting for their lives, just wanted to feel normal. Part of feeling normal is enjoying your own body and not being ashamed of it. That’s why one woman decided to design a bikini that fit her perfectly (even after she had a mastectomy).

“The idea of Monokini 2.0 was born out of a need for clothing down as much as possible during a persistent heat wave. Having only one breast made finding fitting bikinis difficult, therefore I fashioned my own Monokini. Having done that, I thought that maybe there would be others out there like me, women who wanted swimwear that would not make them feel that they were missing a breast. Besides, being one-breasted creates great possibilities for cool swimwear design,” said Elina Halttunen, PhD. She, along with two artists, then developed a line of swimwear that would help these women feel more in tune with their own body.

She didn’t want these women to hide their scars.

They are warriors, they should be proud of them.

So these monokinis were fitted so that they could feel comfortable in their own skin.

Vilma and Katriina, the Nutty Tarts designers that helped Elina create this line, are excited to make even more suits.

Along with this photoshoot, they are running a crowd funding effort to bring these monokinis to the masses.

The money raising effort will go live next week.

The couple was biking through Japan when they decided to stop at Ōkunoshima.

It’s known as Rabbit Island and that’s because it’s inhabited by hundreds of adorable bunnies. We shared a video of someone visiting Rabbit Island before, but when we saw this album shared by a Reddit user online we couldn’t resist showing you it as well. A couple decided to go camping on Ōkunoshima, and they got up close and personal with some of the adorable residents.
