Cat abandoned for being ‘too ugly’ finds a place to call home

This little kitten is named Romeo, and he was born with a deformity that left him looking a little different than most kitties. Romeo was deemed ‘too ugly’ for anyone to adopt him and left abandoned. That was until Santuario Compasión Animal in Spain caught word of the dapper little guy and stepped in to rescue him.

“They told us that no one wanted him because he was ugly. But for us Romeo is not ugly, he’s a lovely little kitten who likes to play like the rest of the cats. And their differences make them special,”

Romeo spends his days playing with the other kitties at the sanctuary, and hopefully will find a furever home from someone that see’s his beauty as the people at Santuario Compasión Animal did.

Always consider adopting an animal instead of buying. There are a lot of furballs out there that need a home, and bonus points if you can adopt an animal with special needs.

Fancy Cars Found Abandoned In China

Chinese authorities in the city of Chengdu recently discovered a car park with about 200 cars that have been abandoned over the years. Some of the cars are actually quality vehicles and among the 200 vehicles a Mercedes Benz and Bentley Continental were discovered. Authorities have yet to decide what they’re going to do with the cars.

Abandoned Planes Of Various Origins

An abandoned airplane in the middle of nature may not be something you want to see. Typically, their journey up to the point of crash landing wasn’t a happy one. These pictures taken by German photographer Dietmar Eckell, however, are hauntingly beautiful.

There’s no denying that the subjects of his photographs have tragic pasts, but it’s amazing to see these once-functional machines at rest in nature. What happened before these airplanes fell seem like nothing more than fading memories that will one day be swallowed up by the world around them.

“Happy End” is a remarkable photo series from German photographer Dietmar Eckell.

The planes in Eckell’s photographs all had happy endings, but that doesn’t take anything away from the terror coming with plummeting from the sky in a winged metal tube.

The exact details behind these crash landings are a mystery we can’t help but wonder about.

Some of the emergency landings were in such an isolated location, it’s a miracle that survivors were ever found.
