A new company, ‘The Mobile Factory,’ has plans to turn disaster into relief through the conversion of debris into functional building blocks for homes. When disaster strikes in a third world country, millions of dollars are spent on clean-up of the debris alone. ‘The Mobile Factory’ is looking to stretch thsoe dollars even further by cleaning up and rebuilding at the same time.
With this new system, debris is pushed into a double storage container that contains a machine to convert it into wet cement. This cement is then molded into lego shaped building blocks for communities to rebuild their communities.

Disasters like this force many people to rebuild their homes with little resources, often forcing them to live in tents for years. With these new building blocks, even uneducated individuals can learn how to construct a new home with ease, providing a much more comfortable and functional home for many years to come.

Broken water pipes can cause massive damage to homes and buildings. This is a fact that the owners of the Tian Qiao Art Building in Xicheng, Beijing know all too well. Their pipes recently burst in the dead of winter, flooding the building and spraying soon-to-be-frozen water over a beautifully kept garden. The accident caused destruction to years of work.

Or did it?

The water, at a temperature of 22 degrees Fahrenheit, quickly froze to anything it could after pipes burst at 5 AM.

This created an unexpectedly beautiful winter wonderland.

Upon hearing the news, locals and tourists alike scrambled to the building to see nature’s “art” for themselves.

Along with an untold number of selfies.

Luckily, work crews were able to turn the water off before the entire building was destroyed. Let’s just hope Mother Nature’s next artistic showcase is a little more subtle.

Taking these classic vestiges from the past, Inghua turns them into a unique home decor treatment that can replace boring carpets, walls, and tabletops.

Each belt is hand-selected and stripped of its metal. Inghua then hand cleans and prepares them for whatever piece she creates.

This requires color balancing the desired look, and only choosing the highest quality belts.

The results are beautiful, glossy, and hard-wearing surfaces that are available for purchase by the square foot.

You can even hang her designs on the wall.

They loved it.

Some people will go to awesome lengths to make their pets happy. That’s exactly what one Redditor’s father did when he found he had some spare time on his hands. After retiring, he wanted to complete a project at home. The one he chose just happened to be one that would be extremely beneficial for his favorite felines.
He decided to build them a custom walkway and cat house outside so they could get some sunshine. The enclosure is unofficially named Catgola. (Being one of this guy’s cats would be awesome.)

It cost about $300 in materials to make…

Which, given its awesomeness, isn’t much.

It’s connected to a cat flap.

Their two cats now have the freedom to lounge outside safely.

Six miles east of Seoul, there’s a family that’s totally obsessed with cameras and photography. To honor their hobby, they built this shop to look like a giant Rolleiflex Camera – and inside is a fully-functioning coffee shop! They serve coffee, tea, and churros while the walls are decorated with hundreds of different vintage cameras.

It was built by the family’s father, who used to fly in the air force and now spends most of his free time in photography.

They had a dream of creating this store for many years before they could finally make it a reality.

Now its a cozy, beautiful place for people to come and enjoy some coffee while sharing their passion for photography!
