Tattooing Freckles On Your Face Is The New Beauty Craze, And They Look Surprisingly Beautiful

Megi7 — Thu, 02 Mar 2017 16:00:06 +0000

Ever looked in the mirror and thought, “Hey, I really want to cover my face with tattoo freckles?” No? Well, me neither, but as you can see from the pictures below, a lot of other people clearly have.

Freckle tattoos, otherwise known as “freckling”, seem to be quite a big thing these days, and even though the idea of cosmetic tattooing isn’t exactly new (eyebrow tattoos anybody?), people seem to like these tiny ink freckles because of their semi-permanent nature.

Although they look quite obvious at first, they gradually fade to look more natural over the course of a few months, and they apparently disappear completely after about two years. What do you think? Would you get them? Let us know in the comments below!

Cross-Stitch Tattoos By Turkish Artist Eva Krbdk

Megi7 — Sun, 28 Jun 2015 23:09:31 +0000

Many people consider cross-stitching to be something their grandma would do, but Eva Krbdk, a tattoo artist based in Ankara, Turkey, seems to think otherwise. Her cross-stitch tattoo designs look like a cross between pixel art and the popular folk art they’re named for.
Many of her pieces are simple and cute, but with a large-enough canvas, they can become truly impressive, utilizing a wide array of colors that blend to form beautiful images.

Japanese-Inspired Tattoos

Megi7 — Wed, 17 Jun 2015 23:35:25 +0000

Japanese tattoos are just plain beautiful. The Japanese are already artistic people in their own right, which makes sense why the tattoos that bear their style are the same way. The thing I like most about Japanese tattoos is that they can portray a story with a few simple visuals, pure brilliance. With a mix of beautiful color and delicate lines, these tattoos are magnificent. I hope you like what I found, I know I did.

Reasons Why People With Tattoos Are The Coolest People You Know

Megi7 — Thu, 28 May 2015 22:30:58 +0000

These days, tattooed people often take a lot of slack from the many closed minded people in our society. These people all have their own reasons as to why they don’t like tattoos, or don’t understand why people get tattoos, and they’re pretty set in their ways. However, it’s time to start thinking about all the reasons why tattooed people awesome, because there are many!

1. They think outside the box

Tattoos are often original ideas that are born from the experiences of the individual. They’re an artistic representation of who that person is and what’s important to them.

2. They’re appreciators of art

They love it enough to be the canvas.

3. They’re adventurous

If a three hour or more sitting doesn’t scare them, they’re sure to be down for anything.

4. They’re not afraid to be themselves

They don’t care about what other people think of their tattoos. My personal mantra is “I didn’t get it for you, I got it for me”

5. They’re not afraid to take risks

No matter how much research is done before getting a tattoo, it still comes down to putting all your faith into the artist; trusting them with the blank canvas that is your skin.

6. They don’t care about societal conventions

Tattooed people cast aside the negative stigma associated with tattoos; just because society says they shouldn’t be getting tattoos doesn’t mean they’re going to listen.

7. They’re not afraid of commitment

Getting a tattoo means committing to having that piece of art on your body for life. A tattoo is the only thing you take with you to the grave (aside from your secrets).

8. They wear their heart on their sleeve

They’re not scared of being vulnerable – they aren’t afraid to show the world what they are passionate about.

9. They’re proud of their past

And they tell their story through their tattoos.

10. They’re sentimental

People often get tattoos as a way to commemorate a special memory, or as a tribute to a loved one.

11. They’re collaborative

When bringing a tattoo idea to an artist, the client and the artist work as a team to find the best way to bring the idea to life. Being open to creative feedback and suggestions is an important trait that results in a tattoo that both the artist and the client can be proud of.

12. They’re super attractive

The picture speaks for itself.
