Meet Irene Crump and Phyllis Jones

The twin sisters just celebrated their 100th birthday together

They were born 25 minutes apart on November 20th, 1916

They also went to the same school

Had the same first jobs

And now even live together

“We often celebrate our special birthdays together, and we had a lovely day,” Irene, the younger of the two said

Their secret to a long life?

“Hard work and good food is our secret, that’s all I can put it down to”

Lucy and Maria Aylmer are twin sisters from Gloucester, U.K. They were born to a Caucasian father, Vince and a half-Jamaican mother, Donna, which explains why they look so different. People very rarely believe it when they tell them, but Lucy and Maria are actually twins.

Like most twins, Florence Davies and Glenys Thomas are devoted to each other. But their devotion is exceptional – they have stayed inseparable for 103 years! These lovely sisters lived through both world wars and are now considered to be the oldest living twins in the world.

Florence and Glenys have been living a very quiet life in Caerphilly, South Wales. They have never left their village since November 22, 1911 – the day they were born. They’ve taken care of each other, bought identical clothes, and lived through their happiest times together.
