Irene Crump and Phyllis Jones are twin sisters and they recently celebrated their 100th birthday together. Now many people live to be one hundred, and when they were asked what their secret is, they attributed their long lives to hard work and good food.

They were born 25 minutes apart on November 20th, 1916

They also went to the same school

Had the same first jobs

And now even live together

“We often celebrate our special birthdays together, and we had a lovely day,” Irene, the younger of the two said

Their secret to a long life?

“Hard work and good food is our secret, that’s all I can put it down to”
