3D epoxy floors let you experience the thrill of going to the toilet in public by using angled photos and multiple transparent layers to turn your bathroom into an outdoor space. Imperial, a company from Dubai, has cornered the 3D floor design market for now, but this product is too popular to remain exclusive for long.

According to Imperial, liquid 3D floors are a recent innovation first used in hotels, offices, and shopping centers. However, they insist it’s a misconception that decorative screed can only be used in the bathroom or toilet – in fact, 3D floors are suitable for any room, “and even villas.”

Considering that humans have only explored around 10% of our planet’s ocean, we realistically shouldn’t be too shocked when something we don’t understand washes ashore. However, this still doesn’t make our beach vacations any less ruined when thousands of dead birds end up on the sand while your kids play. Here are the weirdest things that have ever washed up on beaches from around the world. They’re pretty out there, and we still don’t know why they ended up there.

1. Doritos.

Snack lovers in North Carolina rejoiced as both of the good flavors of Doritos washed up on the shores of the Outer Banks in 2006. You better believe if it was Zesty Cheese instead of Nacho and Cool Ranch, there’d still be thousands of bags sitting on the freaking beach.

2. An Army Of Giant Squid.

Someone must have awoken the Elder Ones back in 2005, because Newport Beach in California was littered with giant squid. Calamari, anyone?

3. Shoes With Severed Feet In Them.

Since 2007, people in the Pacific Northwest have been finding shoes washed up on shore—shoes with the feet of the previous owners still in them. Given that most of the shoes can only be bought in Asia, it’s likely these are the feet of those who got washed up in the Asian Tsunami of 2004. However, nobody knows for sure.

4. Fly Swatters.

When a huge wave knocked some containers off a cargo ship, the beaches of Kodiak, Alaska, were overrun with sports-themed fly swatters from every professional and college team. I guess a plague of fly swatters is better than a plague of flies?

5. Rubber Duckies.

A cargo ship accidentally dropped 28,000 rubber ducks into the Pacific in 1992. Over 20 years later, the little dudes can still be seen all over the world, landing on the beaches of just about every continent. The cutest little pollutants actually helped scientists research our planet’s ocean currents, and even led them to discover the North Pacific Gyre, where all the ducks seem to eventually end up.

6. A Giant Lego Man.

Ego Leonard, the seafaring, 8-foot-tall Lego man has been seen on at least four beaches around the world. Nobody is sure why he shows up, or how he swims international waters, but he is always a welcome presence among beach goers who had awesome childhoods.

7. Giant Eyeball.

A man found this gross eyeball on a Fort Lauderdale beach, although we wish he hadn’t. It turns out that it belonged to a swordfish, and not a sea serpent.Still, what creature ripped it out of its socket, huh?

8. Bananas. A Crap Ton Of Bananas.

In 200, it seemed as though the banana boat had sunk somewhere off the coast of two Dutch North Sea islands. Luckily, unlike other Dutch beach goers, the bananas don’t peel easily and were fine to eat after ripening.

9. A Grand Piano.

This may look like the cheesy album art to a Sting solo album, but in 2011, a grand piano (not a message in a bottle) emerged on a beach in Miami.

10. Potato Monster.

This controversial photo made its way around the Internet in 2008, and has been the subject of debate ever since. It appears to be some kind of plump, little alien monster George Lucas might conjure up. However, when zoologists took a peak at it, they quickly pegged it as a water-logged raccoon.

Well, there you have it. Much like Ariel collected treasures from us land-dwellers, we now collect the treasures from the seas on our beaches. Perhaps one day this will inspire us to leave the beach and check out the still-unexplored ocean, but probably not.

City Of Thonis-Heracleion
It was thought that this extraordinary city of wealth visited by Helen of Troy was just a legend, but apparently the Egytian city of Thonis-Heracleion was buried under the sea

Archaeologist Frank Goddio
In the Bay of Aboukir on the coast of Egypt, underwater archaeologist Frank Goddio is unearthing the discovery of this mystical city with treasures that dates back to the 8th Century BC.

A Sunken City
The city of Thonis, disappeared beneath the Mediterranean around 1,200 years ago and was found during a survey of the Egyptian shore.

Egyptian History
Since divers have begun uncovering Thonis-Heracleion treasures, archaeologists are now piecing together a picture of what life was like in the city in an era of the pharaohs.

A Trade Route & Center
The city was a main customs hub, which all trade from Greece and elsewhere in the Mediterranean entered Egypt. Life of these trade routes in historical times are now coming into view.

Treasures Uncovered
Divers discovered the remains of more than 64 ships buried in the sea bed. Gold coins, bronze and stone weights have also been found, suggesting of the trade that went on.

Statues Found
Giant 16 foot statues have been uncovered and brought to the surface while archaeologists have uncovered hundreds of smaller statues on the sea floor.

A Major City To Study
Dr. Damian Robinson, director of the Oxford Centre for Maritime Archaeology at the University of Oxford, said: “It is a major city we are excavating. . . The site has amazing preservation.”

Why A Lost City?
Scientists aren’t sure what caused the city to slip into the water, but it’s thought that gradual sea level rise combined with a sudden collapse of the unstable ground the city was built on, caused the area to drop around 12 feet.

Inscribed Stone To Read
Slabs of stone inscribed in both ancient Greek and Ancient Egyptian have also been brought to the surface. How incredibly exciting!

Goblin Shark – That elongated snout isn’t just for looks, it’s used as a sensory tool that can detect electric fields produced by other animals.

So much of our world’s ocean is unexplored which means anything could be lurking in the darkness. There’s a lot we don’t know about when it comes to what’s down there but we do know that these gruesome creatures are swimming around the dark waters and they’re pretty terrifying in their own right.

Zombie Worms – Also known as boneworms, zombie worms bore into the bones of dead whales.

Dragonfish – These little guys (most only grow to about 6 inches long) have a special organ called a photophore that allows them to produce light and let their prey come to them.

Anglerfish – The fish that goes fishing. Anglerfish use the growth sprouting from their heads as a lure to draw in other fish. Take a look at those teeth and you can probably guess what happens next.

Coffinfish – You won’t want to hold this species of sea toad with your hands. Those spines will make warts the least of your worries.

Fangtooth – These have the biggest teeth of any fish in the ocean (proportionate to body size).

Basking Shark – The second-largest fish in the world, basking sharks use their might to feed on tiny plankton. Pick on something your own size!

Sloane’s Viperfish – At roughly 11 inches long, their teeth are more than half of its length.

Megamouth Shark – Though smaller than its fellow planktivore the basking shark, the megamouth shark clearly has the superior name.

Giant Isopod – These can grow to be 15x the size of regular isopods, which you’d probably also be afraid of.

Stonefish – As if anything would bother a fish with a mug like that, stonefish have poisonous spines that stick up when threatened.

Hatchetfish – Their terrifying eyes point upward so they can spot any leftover fish food that might be falling from above.

If a yellow lab was drowning in the ocean, what would you do? I’m betting you jump in and save his life, right? Well what if the victim was a 400lb bear. What do you do then?

Well after a huge black wandered into a Florida community and accidentally walked towards the ocean after being shot with a tranquilizer, a hero stepped up to do the unthinkable, and save one of the most dangerous animals on the planet.

After a report was called in about a wild bear roaming around, it was determined that he be tranquilized and moved back to the forest.

But the dart sent the bear into a panic and he ran towards the ocean, evading officers.

Soon he began swimming out into the Gulf. But the further he went, the more drowsy he became.

That’s when Adam Warwick, a biologist with the Wildlife Commission, knew he had to act.

Diving into the ocean, he swam ahead of the bear and blocked his path to the open water.

“It was a spur of the moment decision. I had a lot of adrenaline pumping when I saw the bear in the water.”

Onlookers were shocked as the 400lb bear could have torn him limb from limb normally.

The bear tried lunging at Adam to climb on top of him and stay afloat, but he was losing the ability to move his legs.

Staying calm, the biologist grabbed the bear around the neck and brought him towards the shore.

Everyone held their breath as Adam dragged the nearly-400-pound bear twenty-five yards to land.

And then finally he got land under the groggy bear’s paws.

Amazingly, he only suffered one minor cut, and scrapes from barnacles on his feet.

Eventually others came out to help both man and beast with the final few years to shore.

The team was able to use a tractor bucket to transport the poor guy back to his home in Osceola National Forest.

Something tells me he’ll have quite a story to tell his bear friends.

Hopefully they believe him!

Hopefully this bear knows just how lucky he is that a legendary hero like Adam Warwick was around to save his life. I don’t even want to think what would have happened had he not been around. I’m certainly karma will pay Adam back soon.

Stick to pools.

First of all, the ocean is deep as fuck.

So deep, we’re actually not sure how deep it is, which is terrifying to think about.

What we do know is that the pressure is so intense, no human* could make it even a quarter of the way down without THIS happening to his or her body:

Unless you’re James Cameron and you can afford to build a pressure-resistant robot to take you to the bottom of the ocean.

This is what most of the ocean looks like:

Pitch-frickin’-black. If you’re afraid of the dark, I don’t recommend going to the bottom of the ocean.

It’s probably better that it’s dark down there because THIS is the kind of shit you’d see:

It’s a mix of hell and outer space.

I mean, there are ROLY-POLIES the size of your HEAD.

And SEA SPIDERS you’d need a bed sheet to squish!

Which proves there’s nowhere to hide from spiders.

And SEA WORMS big enough to use as jump ropes!

Slimy, slimy jump ropes.

And whatever the hell THIS is:

It’s called a frill shark. They should have called it Satan.

Scientists estimate that up to 80% of all living things live in the ocean.

So think of every animal you’ve ever seen on land and multiply that by, like, a billion.

Since there is no sunlight, there are no plants. So nearly everything down there preys on FLESH.

Here are starfish ravaging a whale carcass. Remember when starfish were cute? Me neither.

Every freakfish in the deep sea is just swimming around, chomping on anything it can find.

This is a goblin shark and it lives in the pitch-black waters of your nightmares.

What I’m getting at is this: Nearly everything has teeth.

AGJDSKLGJLSKDGJASGLKJ!

It’s a frickin’ hellscape down there. There are vents of boiling-hot sulfuric acid that would take your face clean off your skull.

And creepy little organisms live in those vents! Because ocean critters don’t give a fuck about anything!

It literally snows shit.

Just a constant steady flurry of fecal matter, organic material, and bacteria.

And there are little to no standards of reality. For example, this is a barreleye:

And those tennis balls of goop you see through its transparent head are its EYES. (The black dots are nostrils; Lord have mercy).

The worst part is we’ve only explored less than 5% of the ocean.

We have better maps of Mars than of the ocean floor.

So basically, we don’t even know what the fuck is down there.

Which is why NO ONE should fuck with the ocean.

These ocean creatures are very creepy and more terrifying than sharks. They are deadly, incredibly large, and they all are very scary.

Giant Halibut

Can you imagine swimming next to that thing?

Colossal Squid

Stone Fish

Please tell me what is worse than a fish that camouflages itself as a rock in shallow water, injects a poison lethal to human upon contact and can survive on dry land for over 24 hours.

Giant Stingray

So far, only found in freshwater but has the capacity to live in saltwater if it chooses.

Barry the Sea Worm

Oarfish

Blue Ringed Octopus

The biggest one is the size of a golf ball, but if you touch it, there is no antidote for its lethal venom.

Sunfish

Giant Isopod

These things have been around since the dinosaurs and can survive for months without food, so you can pretty much expect them to be in our oceans forever.

Coconut Crab

So if creatures in the water have you terrified to go swimming, the coconut crab is a good reason to never set foot on a beach.

Jelly Fish

… seem relatively harmless until you come across this monstrosity while scuba diving.

North Pacific Giant Octopus

Barracuda

Huge Spider Crab

Moray Eels

They look small and harmless poking out of coral reefs, but I know from personal experience these eels can grow up to 9 feet long and can easily take a limb off of a diver.

Long Spine Sea Urchin

Mega Mouth Shark

Ok, ok I know Mega Mouth is technically a shark, but look at it. It’s about ten times more terrifying than a great white.
