Japan has invented holograms you can touch

A Japanese company named Digital Nature Group has created holograms using femtosecond lasers.

3D holograms have been created before but these are the first that are safe to touch.

The tiny points of light that make up the image are called Voxels.

If I know anything about Japan, I can already guess what the first application of this technology will be.
