A Best Friend Kept The Promise That Changed Four Girls’ Lives

Elizabeth Diamond’s story is a powerful reminder of what true friendship can look like when life becomes heartbreaking. After her diagnosis, her best friend Laura Ruffino promised to care for her four daughters and kept that promise with love.

Unfortunately, Eleizabeth Diamond passed away in April 2015, leaving behind her 4 wonderful girls

Luckily, they’ve been adopted by the Ruffino-Diamond family, which has now doubled in size!

“She said if anything ever happens to me I want you to take my girls and I instantly said ok”

“As she started to weaken you can imagine the fears that I had for the girls and being without her.”

Don't Miss Out

“Ten years ago I didn’t think this would be my life. But if something gets thrown at you just accept the challenge and do the best you can”

The Ruffinos have done everything they can to make the girls feel welcome!

Diamond was a caring soul, writing books about wellness and founding a non-profit wellness center

Even the local community has pitched in to help out

A YouCaring campaign has already raised more than $80,000 to help them adjust to a family that’s twice as big!
