Danish Man Finds 1500-Year-Old Gold Vikings’ Treasure

Ole Ginnerup Schytz loves archeology, and that’s why he bought a metal detector. He decided to test it on his classmate’s property in Elling. After a couple of hours, he stumbled upon 22 golden items buried beneath the ground.

Their total weight is around 1 kilogram. Treasure will be exhibited in Danish National Museum, and Ole will be compensated for his work. Compensation sum, just like the estimated value of the treasure, was not disclosed.
