He Didn’t Find Anything Special, Just A Container With A Supercar Parts Inside

A car auctioneer has spoken of the moment he uncovered $1.9 MILLION of classic spares in a number of shipping containers – likening it to discovering Tutankhamun’s tomb.

Chris Routledge opened up the crate to uncover a treasure trove of parts and valuable spares from some of the great 1960s Italian sports cars.

The hoard includes parts for multi-million pound Ferraris including the 250 SWB, 250 GTO and 275 GTB along with the Maserati 250F.

The exact location of the haul, or the seller, has yet to be revealed, but it was assembled by an individual who died a number of years ago and were discovered in the South-East.

Many of the parts are still in their original wooden packing cases dating from the 1960s, or in their original boxes wrapped in oiled paper.
