IKO is a creative prosthetic system designed for Children. They believe that a missing limb shouldn’t be viewed as a disability but instead an opportunity to explore, learn, and play.
“The main concept of this project is to build and enrich the kid’s self-esteem through a learning, creative and social inclusive experience.” says Carlos Arturo Torress, the man behind IKO.
IKO allows kids to create their own prosthetics and tools according to their own needs. The creators chose to use Legos not just because of their creative flexibility but because Legos inspire the pride of creation.
