An obviously insane Chinese beekeeper, Gao Bingguo, age 55, set a new Guinness World Record on Monday by covering himself head to toe in a suit of bees that weighed 240 pounds. He claims to have done it to ‘feel alive for the first time.’ And I agree a few thousand bee stings will make you feel alive.
To start his new suit off, Gao had his friends place several queen bees on his body. Worker bees were then placed at his feet, and they began slowly crawling up his body to be with their queens. The process took all day and he was stung over 2,00 times and his body temperature rose above 140 degrees Fahrenheit because you know, bees.
