mix-childhood

What you’ll need: red and white gummy candy, purple gummy candy, vodka (watching Arrested Development won’t hurt).

mix-childhood

Cut the red and white candy to seperate the colors. Set the mixed color parts of candy to the side for eating.

mix-childhood

Test how well the candies melt down.

mix-childhood

Lightly grease the molds to make removal a bit easier.

mix-childhood

While melting (about a 110 pieces of candy) add in the vodka.

mix-childhood

Heat the candies until melted, but do not boil.

mix-childhood

Pour melted candy into the molds, leaving about 2mm of room in the mold. Let the halves chill in the fridge or freezer. Do the same for the red candy.

mix-childhood

Save the extra in the fridge for later.

Purple candy will make of the center of the pokeball.

mix-childhood

Melt down the purple candy and add a little more vodka.

mix-childhood

Add the purple gummy mix over the top of the white and red halves. Put back in the fridge or freezer for about an hour.

mix-childhood

The white half should look something like this.

mix-childhood

Pop the two halves together and you get this.
