Outer Space is endless and there’s so much that we don’t know about it. What we do know is that Space is just insane. You won’t believe the things that humans have discovered about Space.
Regarding VY Canis Major- It’s collapse would NOT have major implications for the universe. Possibly the galaxy, but not the universe. Also, they didn’t mention the *vast* clouds of ethyl alcohol (the kind you drink) floating in space. Enough to give each and every human on earth thousands of pints worth of beer per day, every day for billions of years.
