  1. 1. Many people use the word “rubber” to mean an eraser. I’m not sure by what standard you say that they are wrong. See, for example, definition 5a. “Rubber” is also used as a synonym for “galoshes”, and as a slang term for car tires.

    2. Was this written by a Brit? In America, a “biscuit” is a small cake of soft bread, typically eaten with breakfast. A “cookie” can be either hard or soft.

  2. On #1 you are wrong. They are both pills, the first is a capsule, and the second is a tablet.
